Commissioned Officers' Quarters and Enlisted Barracks, U. S. Army, Fort McHenry, Maryland; Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine (3,117)

In 1814, the buildings- the Junior Officers' Quarters (to the right) and the Enlisted Barrack- were one and half stories high with dormer windows and no porch. During the 1830's, major improvements were made to the fort, and second stories were added to the buildings. The Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Junior Officers' Quarters and Enlisted Barrack are contributing buildings.
