International Panel Truck
This is a vehicle my brother use to own. This is how it looked just after he brought it home from a local wrecking yard. I'm posting these pics because another Flickr member has just posted a pic (see below) of the same vehicle (my brother ended up selling it before he finished it) - sadly in not much better condition than you see here and unfortunately converted to a 4x4 (note, the bottom picture has been torn. These shots were taken in about 1988).
Before he sold it he had put a rear-end in it, added a Camaro subframe and started on the body work. I'm not really sure why he sold it. I probably have some pics of it more complete, I'll have to see if I can find them. You can sort of see it in the background of THIS shot.
Someone should save this. It would make a cool hot-rod.
(note... to the left is my very first car, a 1967 Firebird. You can also see to the front of the panel another car I once owed, a 1964 Pontiac GTO convertible)
