Past and Present

 

I decided to do a family portrait because I wanted to put together a group of photos that bring us fond memories of when my boys were young. I made sure to include a few present day photos to show how they continue to give us joy. I also wanted to change the background in the photo that belongs to my husband. It is a photograph of his younger sister who passed away at a very young age. It will also serve as a gift to my mother-in-law who lives in Texas.

 

I feel that if she were alive today we would probably be like sisters. So I can say this is like a tribute to her and that she remains alive in the memories of what could've been.
