Clayton Jill Windmill - 2008 April - Jill post mill, Clayton, West Sussex
"Jill" Post Windmill, located above Clayton Village on Duncton Down. Built 1821 on a site in Dyke Road, Brighton and moved to its current location by a team of oxen in the 1850's. "Jill" ceased working in 1907 and fell into disrepair until she was renovated in 1953. Nowadays she is maintained thanks to the efforts of the Jack and Jill Windmills Society.
