This piece is about having an open mind and understanding the idea of construct and how your creative mind and general understanding is bound by your socilaisation and the rigid hierachies and norms of existing culture. This piece is about exploring the mystique and immersing yourself in other cultures with an open mind. Not to be bound by rigid logics, rationalisation and authourity as this surpresses creative thought. It's about stripping back your own constructs and learning alternative ways without been bound by the sceptic that you have nurtured. The piece is inspired by Castenada directly, and of Huxley's doors of perception and the shamanic representation is of something I may have once just dismissed completetly but if you approach all this with an open mind then you can become enriched and blessed by ideas. The message then is to try and embrace alternative belief systems, cultures and ideas without prejudice and cycnism and to realise that we have such a rigid and manafactured world view at times that we need to try and break from this restrictive rational in order to fulfill our potential.

so harbour your own necassary evils

clear your consience and free your own radical

consume with an open mind the bridges of another man
