Bridego Bridge, the location of the 1963 Great Train Robbery (taken on the 30th anniversary in August 1993)

Railway Bridge Number 127, a.k.a. Bridego Bridge, a few miles south of Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, infamous as the location for the Great Train Robbery on 08 August 1963.

 

This photo was taken by myself on the 30th anniversary of the robbery - 08 August 1993 - my motorbike is just out of shot in a lay-by to the left of frame.
