1974 Bricks Against a Straight Edge
This is another slight defect I have noticed with 1974 Bricks. On the left is a stack of bricks from the early 1960s (from many different sets even). On the right is a stack of 1974 bricks. You can see that the ones from 1974 do not stack as straight as the older versions. They do of course work fine for contructing buildings, other structures and toys. They also stick together as well as the bricks from the late 1960s and 1970. The constructions made with 1974 bricks just do not have the "precision" of the ones contructed with earlier versions of American Bricks.
