This is the south end of the Cliff Palace complex. You can see how deep the complex is. There are several rows of rooms going back to the alcove wall. In many cliff dwellings there was a spring of fresh water at the back of the alcove, saving the residents much effort. Note how large the dwelling is in relation to the lady in the green shirt.
