After a number of meetings between different parties it was decided that Leeds City Council along with First Leeds would together start to deal with the numerous overhanging trees in the First Leeds operating area.
First Leeds provided an "open top" Northern Counties Palatine "2" Volvo Olympian, 39920, L650SEU hired from First Weymouth and collected by a First Leeds employee from First Avon's Weston Super Mare depot.
The bus has had numerous modifications due to both H&S and to protect the vehicles structural integrity.
39920 is seen here in the councils parks department yard prior to centuring out and attacking the trees
