I'm not sure what banner I like best.
The images on the left are separate banners. The bottom images are demonstrating that if you scroll over it, this box pops out so you can scroll through the dogs that are available at the Oregon Humane Society. Also, the left image fades out so you focus on the pop-out.
It is really difficult to get the text to stand out from the photos. I've tried darking the photos (good luck finding different ones!), using different colors, layers, and finally I opted to use a light drop shadow, but I'm worried that it might be a little tacky.
