This was a university assignment focusing on Fortnum and Mason who were developing a selection of limited edition, themed hampers containing food and drink items and other sundry items to celebrate their brand’s varied history.
The design brief was to create a hamper solution for an explorer. I opted to design a case and food packaging for rainforest/tropical expeditions. The design aimed to create a High-tech but elegant hamper with historical links with F&M Victorian explorer products. Functional but attractive.
The origami packaging contains vacuum sealed food and is designed to open out to act as serving mats. The drink can contains instant chill technology, so a cool beverage can be served in hot jungle conditions.
