The Moon And The Sky Above....Rundle
Rundle, under the moon, the stars and the sky above. To me, this is poetry to my soul. Modesty aside, this image is the result of persistence. Many will look a this image and think the time it was taken, was at daybreak, it was twilight after sunset. I came here for the sunset, to find and overcast and gray sunset. Thinking I had better odds, I went to Vermillion Lake, to find a dark band of cloud over the setting sun. Giving up on both of these locations, I decided to go back to the hotel to pack. I was leaving the next day. After packing, I looked out the window and saw the sky breaking up a little. I immediately came back to Rundle, to find this image you are seeing here. The sky had opened up beautifully, giving view to the moon and the stars above Rundle, reflected on the Two Jack Lake. I came back the next day, before leaving to the airport, to find it completely frozen. Luck might have had a play, but I have to give credit to the persistence of wanting to come back with another beautiful image to share. This image might not be popular or get many comments, but I can tell you, it carries my soul.
I leave you with this song, that kind of reflects the emotion and the mood, this image brings to me.
Sade - The Moon And The Sky
Have a great week ahead.
