Prayer Flag for Healing - "Time Well Spent"
This Prayer Flag is in honor of my twin-sister who is 'LivingStrong'.
I used a muslin foundation, leftover fabrics from the most-recent Traveling Turtle (you can read about the turtles on my blog). The pink silk was added to 'flow' behind the flag.
I've been fortunate enough to take time to spend with my sister, who lives across the country. This last visit was a long one, but it was supported by my very-caring husband... we considered the time away "time well spent". It wasn't end of my 2-month visit with my sister that we saw such a turn-around... seeing her back to doing things she likes to do such as cooking and taking walks was monumental.
