Serene Ceramic Surface

In a way, the best surface seems to be the bisque-fired terracotta with fireplace ash. There's a lot of movement in these towers, and the buff gray finish quiets it. This was my first batch and I put them in too damp so there was a lot of breakage. I used the broken semi-circles to hang like elephant trunks. They also remind me of building at Chichen Itza:
