Succulent garden

This postage-sized garden is made up of about 10,000 succulents. I took this picture at Wisley Gardens, the Royal Horticultural Society garden southwest of London. Though impractical in modern gardens, this kind of gardening was widely practiced by wealthy Victorians, who had access to relatively cheap labor.
