My first Popup Parade statue. The series, by Max Factory, has been around for at least a year now - I just tend to avoid most scale statues under $100 because those generally are prize figures.
Well, somewhere along the line a market for those looking for something between a Prize and a Scale has arisen, and as such this product was born. There's no real... logic, for lack of better terms that will indicate what will show up. It's pretty much a free for all, though some of my perennial favourites like Fate have show up.
I believe Chun Li is the first Street Fighter entry into the series.
The statues are 1/10 scale, and for the $40 CAD MSRP, offer some pretty good detailing.
Clearly, they're not going to be as nicely detailed/finished as true scale statues, but the amount of effort and resources put into the sculpting/finishing are definitely greater than that of your typical Prize Figure. At the very least, Chun Li doesn't have that low grade plastic sheen that typically accompanies lower priced statues.
