From the secondary peak Slatina (914m a.s.l.) you can enjoy a view on various levels, starting from the foreground slightly snowy Mount Vremščica karst moor plateau, which gives light to the landscape, to the background where the sky and sea merge.
A Stratocumulus genus cloud gathers shortly before the sun sets and this creates expectation for the colors that will soon be seen when the sun, just behind the horizon, will illuminate this cloud from below for a few minutes.
Stratocumulus clouds generally form when milder air overflows colder air that has accumulated in the previous days and can cover the sky in predominantly anticyclonic conditions.
If the incoming milder air is also humid, of Atlantic origin, always in predominantly anticyclonic conditions, i.e. without frontal systems, the stratocumulus layer can thicken and give rise to the only precipitation that distinguishes them: the drizzle, or sleet with temperatures close to or below freezing.
