Iris Sibirica Color Spot on a Mount Grmada (1207m a.s.l.) Concave and North-Facing Local Slope; Southwestern Nanos Watershed Ridge Moor (Gmajna), Coastal Karst, Primorska, Slovenija
11-June-2022: the greatest danger for this species, as for all flora in need of fresh and humid soils, is given by Global Warming Climate Change, in particular by drought and the consequent increase in the soil temperatures and in the presence and insistence of the sun.
The soil, especially in rainy areas such as the whole mountain and sub-mountain areas of the south-eastern Alps and northern Dinarides (in relation to my phography), is undergoing drying and heating with impoverishment and friable inconsistency.
The consequences are sadly obvious.
