Day 98 - May 1, 2011

Soju Tents, Guri Market.

The name describes them perfectly. These are, quite literally, tents set up along the side of the road that serve soju and an assortment of cheap Korean dishes. I've never actually been inside one, but you see them all over the place here. The patrons tend to be older Korean men and women, and if you hang around long enough you're bound to see someone stumble out to the realization that walking in a straight line is harder than it seems. They're open year round thanks to space heaters and the insatiable desire of Korean businessmen to treat every night like Friday.
