Apollo 15 Diorama2
After procrastinating for some months, a recent visit to my good friend Les, a very fine and productive artist himself, inspired me to sit down and get back to the canvas. This shows a couple of days work spending about an hour or so each day. There is going to be a lot more detail on the lunar surface in the form of shallow craters, rocks of various sizes and irregular rises and depressions as shown in photographs brought back by the Apollo 15 astronauts. Oh yes, there will also be footprints, scientific instruments as well as the American flag.
