Teal A100-7975

I think that this may be a Green-winged Teal (Anas carolinensis) X Teal (Anas crecca) hybrid. The photo was taken at Salthouse, Norfolk on 27 February 2008 - there were reports of the hybrid in the area, but it was only once I downloaded the shot that I realised that the bird did not look like a normal male teal! Can anyone help?
