What a difference two weeks makes!
A couple of weeks ago we became involved in collecting a newly purchased Volvo Olympian from Carlisle which was to be added to the day to day fleet of Routemaster Buses of Nantwich. In that two weeks the bus has been cleaned, painted and gained a new MoT ... though in fairness to Stagecoach from whence it came, it was really in quite good condition anyway. This was it today now wearing it's psuedo London Country livery after passing it's MoT as I dropped it back off at their premises. The bus will now supplant their previous Olympian as the school service the latter works has outgrown the existing capacity. R247 NBV has a legal carrying capacity of 92... with 87 of them seated.
If it was mine, that glaring yellow mirror would be getting a coat of black!
