Evening in Pitlochry
A short while ago, I and a couple of friends found ourselves staying over two nights in the Scottish town of Pitlochry. In the quest for affordable food we wandered around the picturesque little tourist trap, and as we are inclined to do, went also to suss out the railway station.
In my youth, I occasionally read of a 'Yule of Pitlochry' in Buses Magazines of the era, but back in the depressing real world of the present day, I guess I never expected to see an operator of that name still extant. I would speculate that there is some family link to the business of old, but possibly legal changes in the company entity.
Here then, late one summer evening is the attractive little station yard garage with an Enviro 200 in pole position.
