Wonderful RF
There have been numerous customer's buses which I've been sad to see the back of as they've left RBW as completed projects. There have also been many which I couldn't wait to dispatch! Very much in the former category was this Ex London Transport RF class AEC Regal IV, MXX 280 which was a pleasure in almost all respects. For a bus of it's age (approaching 60 years) it's an absolute treat to drive and goes about it's business in a competent and un-ruffled manner. Yesterday saw it depart for it's new life as a working bus with Routemaster Buses of Crewe having just passed it's CoiF and class VI MoT.
The Metro Cammell bodied saloon is seen on the Crackley estate, Chesterton, Newcastle under Lyme whilst undergoing a fair-well road test prior to collection.
