Saved for posterity
Tucked away at the rear of the Brutonian yard on my first visit was this ex Silver Star of Porton Down Harrington bodied Leyland Tiger Cub MMR 552. I'm not aware of who the previous owner was, but it appears they went in for quality raised aluminium lettering, though someone obviously had the idea of saving the important bit. The black and white liveried bus on the right is an Albion Nimbus, whilst the NBC BET style on the left, a Ribble Leopard. Happily, the Tiger Cub made it into a fully restored eye catcher wearing the livery of it's iconic first owner.
