1978 Timetable for Portsmouth Open Top services.
Just as an aside from the normal pictures I've recently posted of buses in the Portsmouth area, here's the timetable for the 1978 season's Portsmouth - Hayling Ferry Open Top service.
Mrs 'R' has recently engaged in a degree of 'tidying' and adopting a more 'minimalist' approach to the living room. Naturally this has resulted in a substantial amount of my 'junk' being ejected, this by coincidence was in one of the boxes.
It can be seen from the timetable that the service (which no longer operates a such) was a busy affair operating long into the evening. Portsmouth City Transport were the providers, in this era with MCW bodied Leyland Atlanteans.
