It's not that often you get such an unlikely mix of vehicles on a job! Today all three of this mix 'n' match trio were engaged in carrying folks at a charity event. The Donna Louise Trust had organised a tour, and indeed a series of events based in Burslem, Stoke on Trent, to commemorate singer /entertainer Robbie Williams who grew up in the locality. Today the services of two privately owned buses, and the Stanways coach were donated in furtherence of the charity's aims working a tour of all the 'siginficant' Robbie locations for a hundred or so eager fans.
Stanways B10M Plaxton Premier leads an ex Crosville Bristol L5G and ex PMT AEC Reliance 805 EVT as they await departure from alongside Burslem's Queens Theatre.
One thing which is noticeable here is just how much buses have grown over the years ... and now we've gone bigger still.
