Beautiful flower-like reflections
As observed when I was taking this photo. These reflections are due to lens coatings (front & back) of each element to improve the optical property of lenses (reduce light reflections at each surface). From the various colours at various depths, this Zeiss lens appears to have coatings on many lens elements, which is usual for a high-quality lens. The floral-like pattern is due to the hexagonal LED arrangement in each light fitting. Shot using the 100/2 Makro-Planar on a Canon EOS 450D.
