Day Three: Activity #1: Skiff Handling
With a thousand layers on, a life vest, I somehow have to reach over the side with my stubby arm and grab 'Bob,' our man overboard. But I got him!
Skiff handling was another activity of concern for me. I can't swim and falling into the water in Alaska is always a dicey proposition because of hypothermia. Let's just say after some scary moments at the tiller of the outboard, I decided I needed more training.
