The colour of the season is Yellow
The tall structures in the distance are components for a wind farm that is being built in the North Sea. I don't know where they were built, or how they arrive in the docks - they seem to appear overnight. A huge ship transports them out to the construction site. The structures are very big and very yellow. Last week my daughter was camping in the Pentland Hills, south of Edinburgh (the docks are on the north side) , and she told me that she could see the yellow things.
Meanwhile, the Malmaison hotel has new sun umbrellas with yellow stripes.
I took this photo at 7:30 in the evening, waiting for my neighbour. We were both slightly late, as had each decided to go back home for a raincoat. It was still fairly warm (the high temperature on 2 June was 20º). Later, on our way home about 9:15, the sky was much lighter - and it hadn't rained.
