DIY boxy film "scanner" in 10 easy steps:

1) find some lonely paper box (it will be happy for being re-used :-])

2) get something sharp and cut two holes - first one on the top (make it a little smaller than the speedlight's head), the second from the front (make it a little larger than the film)

3) use white paper as an infinite background (like in a photo studio)

4) make some nifty film holder (mine is a folded sheet of paper with hole in the middle)
