The elevator replacement will take 8-10 weeks, so during that time, we will be using the stairs. This is hard on the older tenants. Already five groups of tenants have moved out.
The mailman says that one apartment building took 6 months to repair their elevator.
The elevator definitely needs work. This vintage Staley elevator, at least 70 years old, often sticks with people in it.
