Wounded man

In this detail from a scene of civil strife between factions of Khmer, two men carry a third in a makeshift palanquin. The man who is being carried appears to be wounded or ill. The pole carrier to the right is holding the pole with his left hand and is steadying the wounded man with his right. In the rear, another man gestures into the distance, perhaps to indicate the approach of hostile forces.
