Maple
I found this lovely red leaf tree sprouting a couple of weeks ago at the top of my back garden. No idea what it was at the time as it had been previously severely pollarded (read Hacked to bits). Just had it confirmed that its an Acer Plantanoides Crimson King Norway Maple. It will go from red to dark reddy/purple then copper in autumn.
It needs TLC now but its such a striking colour.
