New during September-1965 as a "Country Area" Green Bus at East Grinstead , West Sussex . Then after a few years it and its compatriots were swapped with some Leyland Atlantean Buses to try them on busy "Central Area" Routes .
CUV55C is heading for Moorgate ( Finsbury Square ) on Route 271
