New to London Transport RTL 500 during March-1950 . Passing in to this fleet during April-1965 . I can't understand why it is carrying an "On Hire to Midland Red" label in its windscreen . As the Harper Brothers fleet did not get taken over by Midland Red , until July 1974 , three months after the date of my shot !

I was unsure whether to “crop” this shot , as it was two vehicles passing etc , central to the image is so much else going on . Therefore this just how it came out of my Camera .
