The Shard

We are having a few days in London, our base is a Novotel hotel in Southwark , this is the view from our bedroom . Given we cannot open the window it was taken through glass .

 

The Shard is a a 95-storey mixed-use development pyramid-shaped skyscraper, designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano, in Southwark, London. Standing 306 metres (1,004 feet) high, The Shard is the tallest building in the United Kingdom and Western Europe
