14/52 - Archer composite
Finally managed to persuade my mate, who is an archer to come round and have his pictures taken with his bow. So we went for pizza and after getting back to my crib whilst I was setting up the lighting he pulled out his worn brown hoody, donned his quiver, put some arrows in and posed like this and said how does that look then. For the life of me I thought he had a compound bow but no he sold that as prefers to use a more natural wood bow, so in true fantasy adventure styley I composited him into a dungeon scene and with some heavy processing ended up with this. Background courtesy of Devantart (I think?). Oh also got first use of my 60x90 gridded softboxes. Luvverly!
Can't help but feel that I should post a more natural looking shot next week, but let's see how the mood takes me.
All lighting is Lencarta Elitepro 600W fired using RF602 triggers. Gridded softboxes at about 2 and 10 o clock, with a 40cm beauty dish at 7 o clock and high above camera. Canon 5D with 24-70 F2.8L.
