New Lighthouse, Flamborough Head, England
The "new" lighthouse was built in 1806, the old Chalk Tower in 1669 (shown in a previous photo). The round brick tower with a double gallery is 89 feet tall and attached to a two story stone keeper's house. All painted white with turquoise trim. The light signal is 4 white flashes every 15 seconds.
Located on a rocky point jutting out into the North Sea about 6 miles northeast of Bridlington. A popular tourist attraction.
