Mineral Point, Wisconsin Pendarvis
Mineral Point, Wisconsin was the site of the first important mineral rush in the United States in the early 1800's. The mineral was lead, not gold. Hundreds of out of work Cornish tin miners came to work in the mines and brought their stone working skills with them. This building dates to the 1860's.
