Switching at St. Ignace
Soo Line GP35's 729 & 730 are building there train at St. Ignace, MI. in preparation of heading back towards Trout Lake, in this May of 1978 Kodachrome.
Now days the only thing left in this photo is the Shell gas station and N. State St. The area of the "boat yard" is now the parking lot for the Star Line Mackinac Island Ferry.
