Chin Village Woman

Detail of facial tattoos of the ladies in a Chin village. There were about 7 of these ladies in the village we visited and all are over 70 years old. The practice of facial tattoos is no longer being done but these ladies are proud of their tribal identification and are actually happy to be photographed as they bring in income to the village through scarves and other woven materials.
