Adelaide to Alice - Woomera Military Museum

Woomera is Australia's answer to Area 51. A centre for top secret military work through out the Cold War and in the early days of the space age. It's still a military town and they do a variety of weapons testing there. There are a number of salt lakes in the area and lots of flat land that make for good testing grounds.
