Reflecting On Mars
One of the most interesting things about night shooting to me is how the long exposure can amplify the most insignificant seeming light source. While shooting the Milky Way over Crater Lake, I ended up with this massive reflection of Mars. I also thought I might be picking up a bunch of faint meteors, but they turned out to be planes. I couldn't see anything up there with the naked eye, but most of my exposures had 2 or 3 planes passing through.
