Blue Valley Spire
Die Gegend um Hanksville in Utah ist stellenweise wie von einem anderen Planeten. Es gibt dort unzählige spektakuläre Sehenswürdigkeiten zu entdecken, teils an sehr entlegenen und nicht leicht zu erreichenden Orten. Bei unserem letzten Besuch in der Gegend ging es erneut zur Blue Valley Spire, welche bei dieser Lichtstimmung fast schon was von Mordor hat 😉. Leider wird dieser besondere Ort zunehmend stärker besucht, vor Jahren war es noch eine Herausforderung die Felsnadel überhaupt zu finden.
The area around Hanksville in Utah feels like something from another planet in places. There are countless spectacular sights to discover there, some in very remote locations that are not easy to reach. On our last trip to the area, we went back to Blue Valley Spire, which, in this light, almost has a Mordor-like feel to it 😉. Unfortunately, this special place is becoming increasingly popular. Years ago, it was challenging just to find the rock spire.
