Cheery Cheerios
Materials: Wood background cloth, snowflake cloth cutout, ornaments, thin fairy lights, mini wreath, pinecone, Christmas bow, bowl, jello, mod podge, colored cereal, spoon.
Idea: My idea was to make a Christmas themed photo of cereal that looks almost like an ad or something you would see on a magazine.
Process: To do this, we put jello in a bowl and poured mod podge all over it to make the illusion of cereal floating in milk without it getting soggy. Then we added various decorations to make it Christmas themed such as a wooden background, a wreath, ornaments, fairy lights, and a large bow. We used warm lighting, and I decided to take this shot from above since this perspective reminded me of photos of food on magazines. In editing, I boosted the contrast, vibrance, and denoised it a bit.
