Hemipenthes maura drinking the flowers
Where i was, i saw this interresting species of diptera. I first thought about hoverflies, but i now see almost a year later that's clearly wrong! It was a little difficult, because it flew away quickly, not because it was scared, just because it wanted to. But then i took my shot and got this beautiful result!
When i looked back at this shot and saved it with my editing, i immediately thought this must be a species of beefly and i was right! Maybe not those really cute ones, but it is the first beefly i have seen conciously!
