Just over a week later on 11 February, I bought these…a pair of Ann Summers Smooth Operators stockings in mink from the 1970s, hence the title with paraphrases that of a song by Sade, whose lead singer was born in Nigeria when it was still a British colony. I thought these stockings were from the 1980s but they’re not apparently; mind you, the font used on the label giveth that away. These are also rare too, being 12-denier so maybe THAT’S why I’ve not worn them yet. However, it was only recently that I got round to scanning this in, having not done it at the time.
