Wet Paint Heart, Fort Totten Indian Boarding School

There are some very sparse indications of the kids that once inhabited this place. This little heart on the central hallway window trim stopped me in my tracks when I saw it. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to best photograph it.
Some kid dipped their finger in wet wall paint to make this - possibly at great risk in doing so. I hope this kid had a great life and that his love was met in kind after leaving this awful place.
