Resting Kingfisher

Forest Farm, UK.

 

Using the well maintained wildlife hides, we had noticed a pair of kingfishers darting around. the light was soft and far from ideal, and so capturing movement was not viable. Luckily this kingfisher seemed to know that, and kept returning to it's perch directly opposite us.
